Dr Aaron Stevenson is an Australian trained spinal surgeon who specialises in both paediatric and adult spinal surgery

Dr Stevenson has dual subspecialist Fellowship training in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery.

Dr Stevenson graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 2008. Following his orthopaedic surgical training in Adelaide, Dr Stevenson undertook a specialist Spinal and Neurosurgical Fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Stevenson subsequently completed a second Advanced Spinal Fellowship at the University of Colorado in the United States of America.

Dr Stevenson works as a consultant spine surgeon at both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.


 

Dr Aaron Stevenson has a particular interest in anterior spine surgery and complex deformity correction surgery

 

Dr Stevenson has a unique advanced skill set as an anterior spinal access surgeon. This training was undertaken in both the United States of America and France.

Dr Stevenson has comprehensive experience with advanced spinal technologies including computer navigation, patient specific instrumentation and minimally invasive spine surgery.
